Ruby port is made to drink immediately and therefore not intended to be stored. Many people also use this port for cooking (eg poached pears) because it gives a lot of fruity taste for relatively little money. Lightly chilled it is a delicious drink on a warm evening. Once opened, Ruby ports will last a fairly long time, so you do not have to rush to empty the bottle.
